ASSISTANT MENTAL HEALTH DIRECTOR
As the Assistant Mental Health Director, Alicia Lyles is responsible for ensuring that policies, procedures, and protocols related to mental health treatment for QCHC sites in the state of Alabama are being followed; ensuring quality of care and compliance with standards and policies; and designing and implementing training and education on mental health issues for QCHC personnel. Prior to joining QCHC, Alicia provided mental health services in the community at the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Community Psychiatry Program through therapy, medication management, case management services, as well as being their Jail Diversion Specialist for two years. Alicia obtained her Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL. Alicia is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and a Private Independent Practitioner (PIP) in the State of Alabama.
