Donald Schrupp, Director of Information Technology, has been with QCHC since 2008. He has over 20 years of experience in both information technology and nursing. Donald began his career with QCHC as a nurse at one of our central Alabama sites. He was promoted to the corporate office and brings a wealth of experience in both information technology and nursing. As a key member of our corporate management team, Donald is responsible for the management, strategy and execution of IT infrastructure for QCHC. Donald oversees technical projects, ensures the effective delivery of networks, and tracks technology in order to achieve operational goals. Donald is a Certified Correctional Health Professional(CCHP) by the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC). He retired from the Army, where he began his career as a combat medic and then became a Licensed Practical Nurse finishing his career as a System Administrator. He received his Bachelors in Information Technology (BSIT) in 2014 from University of Phoenix.
